This Friday, all students from Prep-Years 6 will participate in a House Cross Country Carnival. They will be trying to gain as many points as possible for their House team. All of our children have been training for the event which will be exciting! Students are encouraged to wear their house colors.
Starting Time for events:
Junior Classes (Prep-Year 2)
Prep students - 1pm
Year 1 students - 1:10pm
Year 2 students - 1:20pm
Middle and Senior Classes (Year 3-6)
9 Years and Under Students - 2:30pm
10 Years Students - 2:40pm
11 Years Students - 2:50pm
12 Years and Over Students - 3:00pm
House Results Announced - 3:25pm
Year 3-6 students will begin their races on the school oval and use the Puckapunyal bush area behind the school and then run along the walking/running track at the south end of Sanananda Rd and up Sanananda Rd back to school.
Prep-Year 2 students will also begin on the school oval, then run behind the school oval and back to the school oval.
All races will finish on the oval at the front of the school amphitheatre. The Prep-Year 2 students will not leave the school grounds at any time. The Years 3-6 students will leave the school grounds and will need to return last week’s permission slip. All parents are welcome to come along. The best place to watch the cross country for guests will be in the school amphitheatre.
